HP Mobile Center is a software solution for testing mobile application functionality and performance across real-world network conditions on real mobile devices. It is offered by HP Software Division of Hewlett-Packard. HP Mobile Center is a component of the HP Application Lifecycle Management software solution set. ==Architecture== HP Mobile Center is a standalone server that provides mobile device access to different test applications. HP Mobile Center supports a distributed architecture where different test clients can all interact with the same Mobile Center server instance. The HP Mobile Center environment is made up of the following components: *The Mobile Center server *Test devices that are connected to the Mobile Center server *Distributed Connector (Windows and Linux versions) which can host mobile devices and connects remotely to the Mobile Center server *A database server, which by default is run on the Mobile Center server itself *An optional network virtualization server which can be used to test applications running under different network conditions To set up a testing lab, the mobile devices need to be connected to the server or connector.
